Types of Information we collect from you or you provide us with


1. Personal Information – This information, name, address, telephone numbers, and email address is gathered from you either going through the checkout or filling in enquiry forms on the website. It may aso be provided by you to us by phone or email.

2. Financial information - when making purchases is not stored by The Poles Company but by one of our payment gateway providers (SagPay or PayPal) you decided to choose.

What we do with your information


1. Personal – We share your name and address with third parties solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. Those third parties are bound by the GDPR regulation not to share the information we provide them We do not pass on any information to any other party for any reason.

2. Financial Information – is stored with SagePay or PayPal whoever you chose for payment at the Checkout. No information is stored by, and therefore could not be used by, The Poles Company.

3. Data – Will be used to improve the website experience, monitor product sales performance and promotions. Where we use Google Adwords, data will be used to improve the effectiveness of search data.


Disclosure of Information


For the purpose of processing orders an fulfilling obligations to customers, names, addresses, phone numbers & email addresses will be used by employees of The Poles Company who will undergo rigourous training in line with the GDPR requirements for compliance.

Should there be a legal requirement to disclose your personal data to a third party not already referred to for reasons of fraud prevention, or credit risk reduction, The Poles Company would have a legal duty to comply
