Cameron Fuller have cleverly merged two of their earlier products into one, to produce a multi-purpose rod that can be used as both a Portiere Rod for door curtains or a Dormer Rod for dormer windows. Due to the design, as a Portiere Rod, it can be operated so that the curtain moves with the door as it opens or closes or the rod can be lifted off the support bracket away from the door when not needed.
The hinge attaches to the door frame or return wall. The pole rests on a support on the door that allows the door to open and close without moving the curtain. A second pole support is mounted on the return wall, the pole can be lifted up off the support bracket and swung away from the door or window, and placed on that side support at times when the curtain is not required across the door or window.
The fixing plate can be positioned on either the left or right hand side of the door or window. If the door is in a recess it can also be fitted onto the recess side wall. Please note the projection of the support bracket is greater than the fixing plate and for the pole to be parallel with the door, it may be necessary in some instances to fix the fixing plate onto a batten.
Available in one length only of 120cm the rod can easily be shortened using a fine tooth Hacksaw.Strong brackets make it suitable to medium to heavy weight curtains. Twelve rings are included as standard and extra are available to purchase.
Available in a choice of 8 colours and 9 finials.
